About Us
A safe, calming space for individuals seeking thoughtful, compassionate psychiatric care. Many people feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure where to turn. At Hope and Healing Sanctuary, care is grounded in respect, understanding, and a commitment to treating the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.
At Hope and Healing Sanctuary, care is evidence-based, collaborative, and individualized. Treatment is never one-size-fits-all.
Hope and Healing Sanctuary is grounded in Christian faith, which guides the spirit and values of the practice. Faith-based care is available for those who wish to integrate this support into their treatment and is tailored to each individual, honoring personal beliefs and clinical needs.
Hope and Healing Sanctuary is led by Ernest Mall, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
A graduate of Chamberlain University (BSN) and Walden University (MSN), Ernest brings several years of experience in the psychiatric mental health field, providing care to individuals across a wide range of clinical settings. His approach is holistic and faith-informed, emphasizing the importance of therapeutic rapport, trauma-informed care, and precision in psychopharmacology.
Ernest is committed to delivering thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care that is both clinically grounded and deeply human. He works collaboratively with patients to develop treatment plans that honor each person’s unique history, symptoms, and goals, with a focus on safety, stability, and long-term healing.
Through his work, Ernest has supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and co-occurring challenges, helping them feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from a psychiatric evaluation?
Your initial evaluation is a collaborative and unrushed conversation focused on understanding your concerns, history, and goals. The purpose is to gain clarity and develop a thoughtful treatment plan—not to rush to conclusions or labels. You are encouraged to share openly, at your own pace.
We offer secure video conferencing options ensuring you receive consistent support wherever you are.
How are sessions offered
What if I’ve had a difficult experience with psychiatric care in the past?
Many people come to care feeling hesitant due to prior experiences. Hope and Healing Sanctuary prioritizes listening, transparency, and respect. Care is approached thoughtfully, with an emphasis on rebuilding trust and ensuring you feel heard and supported.
Is medication required as part of treatment?
Medication is never required. Treatment decisions are made collaboratively and thoughtfully, based on clinical appropriateness and your preferences. When medication is considered, benefits, risks, and alternatives are discussed openly so you can make informed choices.
Do I have to be Christian to receive care?
No. While Hope and Healing Sanctuary is grounded in Christian faith, care is provided with respect for each individual’s beliefs and values. Faith-based support is available for those who desire it and is incorporated on a patient-by-patient basis. You are welcome here regardless of your faith background.
